Name

The name of this organisation is Khademul Insan Trust. It is a non-political, non-profit, community-welfare Islamic charitable organisation.

‘Khademul Insan’ means ‘servant of humanity’. The name expresses our core belief: serving people in order to earn the pleasure of Allah.

We believe that when the generosity of those who can give is delivered honestly and transparently to those who truly need it, hunger, illiteracy and helplessness can be reduced.

Objectives

The main objectives of Khademul Insan Trust are:

  1. To help poor and needy people with basic necessities — food, clothing and shelter.
  2. To stand beside orphans, widows and vulnerable women and support a dignified life.
  3. To provide educational support and scholarships to deprived and talented poor students.
  4. To assist sick people who cannot afford medical treatment.
  5. To carry out relief and rehabilitation during floods, winter, disasters and emergencies.
  6. To support access to safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation.
  7. To help able but needy people become self-reliant through livelihood support.
  8. To promote moral and religious values, social awareness and mutual cooperation.
  9. To earn donors’ trust by keeping and publishing every donation and expense transparently.

Principles

All our work follows these principles:

  • Trust (Amanah): every donation is a trust and is spent only for the purpose it was given.
  • Honesty: integrity in every transaction and decision.
  • Transparency: approved income and expenses are open to everyone on this website.
  • Accountability: every expense is verified and approved, and records are kept.
  • Shariah-compliant management: Zakat and Sadaqah funds are accounted for separately and spent only on the designated categories.
  • Non-political: the organisation is not run under any political party or ideology.
  • Human dignity: protecting the respect and privacy of those we help.
