Name
The name of this organisation is Khademul Insan Trust. It is a non-political, non-profit, community-welfare Islamic charitable organisation.
‘Khademul Insan’ means ‘servant of humanity’. The name expresses our core belief: serving people in order to earn the pleasure of Allah.
We believe that when the generosity of those who can give is delivered honestly and transparently to those who truly need it, hunger, illiteracy and helplessness can be reduced.
Objectives
The main objectives of Khademul Insan Trust are:
- To help poor and needy people with basic necessities — food, clothing and shelter.
- To stand beside orphans, widows and vulnerable women and support a dignified life.
- To provide educational support and scholarships to deprived and talented poor students.
- To assist sick people who cannot afford medical treatment.
- To carry out relief and rehabilitation during floods, winter, disasters and emergencies.
- To support access to safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation.
- To help able but needy people become self-reliant through livelihood support.
